The Philippi Shore Power Unit LAE 233 is a power distributor with 3 circuits for AC shore power connection on boats, protecting 230V consumers via double-pole rocker circuit breakers. It is precisely designed for the Series 200 circuit distribution panels and intended for installation in a control cabinet or panel cutout.
- 3 separately fused circuits for various 230V consumers on board
- Compact panel size for retrofitting into existing switch panels
- Fast wiring thanks to pre-assembled spade terminals instead of screw terminals
- Optional vehicle labeling set for use beyond boats
The LAE 233 distributes the incoming shore power to three separately protected 230V circuits, making it the central distribution unit for sockets, chargers, or air conditioning on board. Each of the three circuits is equipped with a double-pole thermal rocker circuit breaker for 10 A at 230 V / 50 Hz. Consumer supply lines are connected via 6.3 mm spade terminals on the back of the circuit breakers; the included supply cables are 70 cm long.
Philippi supplies the LAE 233 as standard with an SKZ labeling set for boats and black mounting screws; a labeling set for vehicles (SKZ-MOBIL) is also available upon request. The panel must be installed so that the rear side with the live components is only accessible and covered with tools.
| Feature | Value |
|---|---|
| Circuits | 3 x double-pole thermal rocker circuit breakers, 10 A |
| Voltage | AC 230 V / 50 Hz |
| Connection | 6.3 mm spade terminals, 70 cm supply cable |
| Dimensions (W x H x D) | 105 x 105 x 70 mm |
| Mounting Cutout | 81 x 81 mm (12 mm smaller per edge than the panel) |
| Scope of Delivery | SKZ labeling set (boats), black mounting screws |
The LAE 233 is compatible with the Philippi Series 200 circuit distributors and can be combined with other AC shore power units from this series, such as the LAR mains control panel for displaying correct shore power polarity.
Does the LAE 233 shore power unit require an additional residual current device?
Yes, the panel is only permissible if there is an upstream protection with an RCBO (RCD/MCB) circuit breaker.
How large must the mounting cutout for the LAE 233 be?
The mounting cutout can be 12 mm smaller per edge than the panel dimensions (W 105 x H 105 mm), i.e., 81 x 81 mm.
Is the LAE 233 also designed for use in vehicles?
The scope of delivery includes an SKZ labeling set for boats and black mounting screws; a set for vehicles (SKZ-MOBIL) is also available upon request.
How are consumers connected to the LAE 233?
Consumer supply lines are connected via 6.3 mm spade terminals on the back of the rocker circuit breakers; the supply cables are 70 cm long.
