A refit panel is a plug-and-play 1:1 replacement panel: It precisely replaces the factory-installed switch panel of your yacht – with identical dimensions and plug connections, but modern electronics. You modernize your on-board power system without changing the cutout or rewiring.

What is a Bavaria Refit Panel?

A Bavaria Refit Panel is a ready-to-install 1:1 replacement panel from philippi. It precisely replaces the factory-installed switch panel of your Bavaria yacht – with identical dimensions and connections, but modern electronics.

Yes. Cut-out dimensions and connectors match the original. You remove the old panel, plug in the new one and screw it in – no sawing, no drilling, no new wiring.

Currently for Bavaria panels 16, 20, 301, and 303, as well as STV 726 for BMB motorboats. Is your model not listed? We also manufacture individual replacement panels in our workshop.

In most cases, yes – due to the 1:1 fit, replacement usually takes less than an hour. Our technical support team can assist you with any questions regarding fit or additional functions.

Depending on the model, Bavaria Refit panels cost between €749 and €1,349 including VAT.

The panel installed ex works is decisive, not the year of manufacture. The easiest way is to tell us the boat type and the designation of the existing panel – we will check the fit for you. If you are unsure, a short photo of the existing panel will help.

Installation position, dimensions, and connections remain the same. What's new are the technology and convenience: modern circuit breakers, LED function display for each circuit, and – depending on the model – USB-C charging, as well as an integrated tank display and a battery management system with starter battery monitoring.

Then we will manufacture your customized exchange panel: perfectly fitting to original dimensions, with the technology you need. It’s best if we clarify this in a short consultation.

For a full tank display, we recommend the TIL tank interface (€89 incl. VAT). It adapts the signals from two fresh water and one waste water sensor to the battery-tank monitor – ideal in combination with your Refit Panel.

The panels are designed for the respective vehicle electrical system, whether 12 V or 24 V.
