Connection technology
When connections are soldered, there is a risk of cold solder joints with larger cross-sections. This results in high contact resistance and therefore a fire hazard. Generally, the solder stiffens the cable strands. This can lead to cable breakage if vibrations or impacts occur. The flux contained in the solder also promotes cable corrosion. To avoid the disadvantages of a soldered connection, professional crimping pliers are used for a secure and permanently strong connection between the cable and the cable lug. These crimps meet the special requirements on board. With the specially designed crimping pliers, uninsulated cable lugs achieve a significantly better connection quality than is possible with insulated cable lugs.
