philippi DC Fuse Distribution Panels – Professional Power Distribution and Protection for Boats, Yachts & Vehicles
DC fuse distribution panels are the core of a standard-compliant and safe onboard installation. They distribute power from the battery in a structured way to individual circuits and simultaneously protect each line according to its cross-section – reliably, clearly, and space-saving. philippi offers a complete portfolio for this: from compact built-in circuit breakers to the compact SafetyHub and the powerful DC Distribution – for currents from 1 A to well over 200 A.
Briefly explained: A DC fuse distribution panel combines power distribution and line protection in one device – fewer cable connections, fewer sources of error, more clarity. Standard-compliant according to DIN EN ISO 13297 for 12V and 24V onboard electrical systems.
Why a fuse distribution panel instead of individual fuses?
Individual fuse holders for each circuit mean many connection points, a lot of cabling effort, and a confusing installation. Using a fuse distribution panel significantly reduces installation effort due to the considerably fewer cable connections. All circuits converge in a structured manner, can be checked at a glance, and can be quickly located in the event of a fault.

SafetyHub 150 – Extended DC Distributor with 4 High-Current Outputs
The SafetyHub 150 circuit distributors are used for the distribution and protection of circuits from 1 to 200 Amperes. The ignition-protected design allows installation in boats with gasoline engines, protection class IP 66.
SafetyHub 150 Features:
- 4 × MIDI fuses 30–200 A (STM) for protecting high loads, e.g., main switch panels or anchor winches
- 6 × automotive blade fuses (ATO) 1–30 A for small consumers
- Ignition-protected, protection class IP 66
- Use as main or sub-distribution
Suitable for: Boats and vehicles with moderate power requirements, several high-current consumers, and the desire for a compact, clear central distribution.

Fuse Distribution Panels as Main or Sub-Distribution
The SafetyHub was specially developed for onboard applications. Regardless of whether the SafetyHub is used by the boatyard to reduce costs and weight, or by an installation company to expand an existing electrical system – reliable and safe protection of the circuits is guaranteed.
If a more complex distribution with multiple parallel batteries or remote sub-distributions is required, a combination of busbars and individual fuse holders is recommended – both also available in the Philippi product range.
For which applications are the DC Fuse Distribution Panels suitable?
- Sailing Yachts & Motorboats – standard-compliant main distribution according to DIN EN ISO 13297
- Boats with Gasoline Engines – ignition-protected SafetyHub version, IP 66
- RVs & Expedition Vehicles – compact central electrical system for superstructures and conversions
- Retrofit Projects & Extensions – quick, clear addition to existing installations
Frequently Asked Questions about Philippi DC Fuse Distribution Panels
Can the SafetyHub be installed in gasoline boats? Yes. The ignition-protected design of the SafetyHub product family allows installation in boats with gasoline engines.
What is the difference between a built-in circuit breaker and a built-in switch-circuit breaker? The built-in circuit breaker (M6, up to 150 A) protects the circuit and has a test release button. The switch-circuit breaker (M8, up to 200 A) additionally combines a manual switching function – it can switch the circuit on and off without the need for a separate switch.
Are the fuse distribution panels suitable for 12 V and 24 V? Yes. All models are designed for 12 V and 24 V onboard electrical systems. The built-in circuit breakers and switch-circuit breakers partially support system voltages up to 48 V DC.
