Flat Fuse Holder BS 5023 for Battery Terminal Mounting

The Blue Sea Systems Flat Fuse Holder BS 5023 mounts directly on the positive battery terminal and provides four additional fused circuits for accessories and small loads. Since the fusing is located directly at the power source, there is no need for individual upstream fuses on each consumer – ideal for retrofitting in the electrical system of boats, RVs, or vehicles.

  • 4 independent circuits for ATO or ATC blade fuses
  • Screw terminals with secured star washers, including nylon-insulated ring terminals (4x 16-14 AWG and 4x 12-10 AWG each)
  • Ignition protected design according to ISO 8846 and SAE J1171 for use in the engine compartment of gasoline engines
  • Tinned copper busbars (C11000) for permanently low contact resistance
  • Insulating cover meets ABYC/USCG touch protection requirements

What applications is the BS 5023 suitable for?

The BS 5023 is suitable for all cases where additional loads need to be fused directly at the battery, such as when retrofitting accessories, additional lighting, or small electronic components, without altering the existing fuse distribution.
