The Philippi STV 232 is a switch panel from the 200 series that combines 10 fused circuits, the BTM2 battery/tank monitor, and an integrated USB-C/A plus DC charging socket on one panel – for yachts and RVs with 12V or 24V on-board electrical systems that want detailed battery monitoring and charging capabilities in one device.

The BTM2 battery/tank monitor displays battery voltage, charge status, charge/discharge current, and tank levels in real time on a 3.5" color touchscreen and can be integrated directly into your on-board network thanks to NMEA 2000. For connection to the monitor, the SHE 348 shunt is also required, which is not included and must be ordered separately.

For those planning full P-Bus system monitoring, the STV 250 (System Monitor PSM3) or the STV 270 (System Monitor PSL, larger display) offer more future-proof alternatives to the STV 232 – both also equipped with 10 circuits and charging capability. The STV 232 is developed and manufactured in Germany.

Recommended terminal block: Type RKL 10. The SHE 348 shunt is not included and must be ordered separately. For full P-Bus monitoring, the STV 250 and STV 270 are compatible alternatives with the same number of circuits.

Should I choose the STV 250 or STV 270 instead?

If you plan to significantly expand your P-Bus system later, yes. For most on-board electrical systems with pure battery and tank monitoring, the STV 232 with BTM2 already fully meets the requirements.

Is the SHE 348 shunt included?

No, the SHE 348 shunt for battery monitoring is ordered separately.

The BTM 2 combines modern design with powerful technology: a brilliant 3.5” color touch display with automatic brightness adjustment ensures intuitive operation and perfect readability – at all times and under all conditions.

Thanks to the integrated NMEA 2000 interface, all battery and tank data can be seamlessly integrated into the onboard network and conveniently displayed on compatible plotters. At the same time, the BTM 2 impresses with its particularly low standby consumption, allowing it to remain reliably connected to the battery permanently.

Always stay on top of things: precise real-time data on voltage, current, charge status, remaining runtime, and temperature give you full control over your power supply. Solar systems and a wide variety of tank sensors can also be flexibly integrated.

Intelligent alarm and energy management actively protects your battery from deep discharge – ideal, especially for modern lithium systems.

Technology that endures

For our panels, we deliberately use replaceable, mechanical circuit breakers – for maximum reliability and easy maintenance. Thanks to their sophisticated design, the components can be replaced quickly and easily, minimizing downtime.

By default, circuit breakers with a current of 10 A are installed. Alternatively, circuit breakers with currents of 6 A, 10 A, 16 A, and 20 A can be used.

The integrated protection function makes additional fuses superfluous while ensuring a high degree of operational safety. Since these are purely mechanical solutions, no additional energy is required for electronics or relays – a clear advantage in terms of efficiency and sustainability.

Depending on the model, the Series 200 control panel protects between 3 and 24 circuits. Two-pole versions are indicated by the suffix "-2p" in the model name. The exact number of circuits can be found in the product description at the top of this page.

Series 200 switch panels are available for 12V and 24V on-board power systems. When purchasing, ensure you select the correct voltage variant – this is specified in the technical data for each model.

Some models of the 200 series already have an integrated monitor (e.g. BTM2 or PSM3), others are pure circuit distributors without a monitor. Please refer to the product description on this page to see whether your model includes a monitor.

Yes. Philippi products are manufactured and tested in our own factory in Remseck. In the event of a defect, we repair devices as long as spare parts are available – even far beyond the statutory warranty period.
