The RSW float switch from Philippi is a tank sensor installed laterally in tanks for oil or petrol, detecting the fill level as a simple switching contact – depending on the installation position, it opens or closes as the level rises or falls.

The RSW serves as a simple on/off tank sensor, for example for alarm or warning functions, and can be connected as a "tank sender 0-1" type signal generator to Philippi monitors of the 200 series (including TCS, BTM2, PSM3).
