The P-Bus AC-Interface CAV is a DIN rail housing interface that measures a 230 V/50 Hz AC phase and feeds energy data from charging sources and consumers into the P-BUS on-board network – for yachts and vehicles with digital energy monitoring.

Many on-board systems consist of components from different manufacturers that already supply their own energy data – such as Philippi chargers of the ACE series or shore power transfer units LAU, which already provide their AC data in a P-BUS-compatible manner. For all other 230 V sources and consumers without their own P-BUS interface, the AC-Interface CAV is installed and set to the respective device.
The Philippi CAV records the current and voltage of the connected 230 V AC devices and provides the P-BUS with the on-board network voltage, the on-board network current, and the kilowatt-hours consumed since the last reset. The electrical connection is made via screw terminals, and the connection to the P-BUS is made via an M12 T-cable included in the scope of delivery.

How can I measure currents over 16 A?
