Two-stage deep discharge protection for optimal protection of your batteries
The remote-controlled deep discharge protector TSD 40 protects the battery(ies) from damage caused by deep discharge. Conventional devices simply switch off connected loads all at once. With the two-stage deep discharge protection, you can continue to operate important or safety-relevant loads, while luxury loads are switched off in a first step when the battery voltage drops. An acoustic alarm warns of the impending shutdown. Re-activation occurs automatically at 12.5/25V. With the "13 V" setting, energy management can be implemented, e.g., an additional cooler, a heated mat, or a hot water boiler can be activated as soon as the alternator is running or a solar panel generates enough energy. With the FB-TSA remote control panel, both outputs can be switched remotely and, in an emergency, switched back on for a short period of time.
