The M12 T-piece from philippi is a waterproof distributor in the P-BUS network that lets you branch off a further bus line to an additional device without interrupting the continuous P-BUS line. It uses the M12 connector system (DeviceNet™), which is also used in the NMEA2000® bus.

  • Expands the on-board network with additional P-BUS devices without interrupting the line
  • Used, for example, to connect the BTM2 battery, tank and charge monitor to an NMEA2000® on-board network
  • For several branches at one point, 2-way and 4-way versions are available

With the BTM2 battery tank monitor, the pluggable N2K cable establishes the connection to the NMEA 2000 on-board network via this T-piece. If several devices are to branch off at one point, use the M12 T-piece 2/4-way.

Can I use NMEA2000® cables in the P-BUS?

Yes, NMEA2000® cables can be used in the P-BUS; however, a direct coupling of both networks is only permitted via the NMEA2000® Bridge CBN.

Can the BTM2 be connected to a Raymarine network via the T-piece?

Yes. The N2K cable connects the BTM2 via the T-piece to an NMEA 2000 on-board network or a Raymarine network; for Raymarine, the SeaTalk NG/NMEA 2000 adapter cable A06045 is used.

Yes. We repair philippi-brand devices in our factory in Remseck for as long as spare parts are available – well beyond the statutory warranty. For partner products, the respective manufacturer's warranty applies; just contact us if you have a warranty claim.
