The Philippi 70 A automotive relay (TR 70 series) is a switching relay for on-board and vehicle electronics that switches load circuits up to 70 A and is suitable for general switching tasks or as a battery disconnect relay in small 12 V or 24 V battery systems.

The 70 A automotive relay from Philippi is controlled via the coil and thus switches a load circuit of up to 70 A – for example, for pumps, auxiliary consumers or as a disconnect relay between two battery circuits. Since the actual control circuit only loads the relay coil with low power, switches and control lines can be dimensioned significantly thinner than the load line itself.

The relay is available with either a 12 V or 24 V coil and is connected via flat plugs, which enables quick and low-tool installation in the vehicle's electrical system.
