ML 500A 12V ACR isolation relay with manual operation

The ML 500A 12V ACR isolation relay with manual override (Blue Sea Systems ML-Series ACR) is identical in construction and performance to the standard ML-ACR, but additionally features a manual override lever. This allows the relay to be opened or closed manually even without onboard power – an important safety and service feature when working on large battery banks.

When is manual override useful with the ML 500A ACR?

Whenever large battery banks need to be serviced or an onboard power failure needs to be reliably bridged: The manual override lever reliably disconnects the battery bank even without electrical control and can be locked in the OFF position for service work.
