The philippi protective bracket (type 570) is a stainless steel component that protects Series 692 circular connectors mounted with an angle housing from mechanical damage – for example the RS 692 Land shore power connector, whose coupling plug is particularly stressed when connecting and disconnecting the shore power cable.

The bracket is intended for connectors with an angle housing: either with the separately available angle housing 692 or in the complete shore power connector RS 692 Land GL/DK, which contains the coupling socket, flange plug, two protective caps and angle housing.
