Ultrasonic sender

A contactless level sender placed on the outside of the tank wall that measures the travel time of a sound pulse. It works without an opening in the tank.
In der Praxis
The advantage is the installation: no drilling, no contact with the liquid, no wear in the tank. A suitable tank wall is a prerequisite — material and wall thickness must match the specification, and the coupling must be carried out cleanly.
At the tank bottom there remains an area the method cannot resolve. This dead zone should be factored into expectations: the reading never reaches exactly zero.
