NH fuse
Kurz definiert
Low-voltage high-breaking-capacity fuse: a design with high interrupting capacity for very large currents, originally from industry.
In der Praxis
On board it is found mainly in large systems and where very high short-circuit currents must be controlled. Replacing it usually requires tools and a cover — that is intentional, not awkwardness.
For the usual on-board currents, Class-T or MEGA fuses are the more practical choice. In every case, the decisive question remains the interrupting capacity.
