The EGS 3808 is a sealed MIDI fuse distribution block from EGIS Mobile Electric with three fuse positions for MIDI fuses up to 200 A per circuit (max. 500 A total current). The design, sealed to IP66/IP6K9K, protects against splash water and dust and is suitable for onboard electrical systems on yachts, motorhomes and off-road vehicles.

Details

The EGS 3808 reliably distributes and protects up to three circuits in a compact housing made of glass-fibre-reinforced nylon. Each circuit can be protected individually with a MIDI fuse up to 200 A, while the distribution block is designed for up to 500 A continuous current in total – sufficient for most branches of the onboard electrical system in a yacht, camper or off-road vehicle. The O-ring-sealed fuse chamber and the Gore-Tex vent valve reliably protect the contacts against moisture, while tinned connection studs and stainless steel fittings remain corrosion-resistant even in continuous marine use. philippi carries the EGS 3808 as part of the EGIS range for the onboard electrical system protection of marine and off-road installations.

Compatibility

Using optional link busbars, the EGS 3808 can be combined with other EGIS MIDI fuse distribution blocks as well as switches and relays of the EGIS XD series to form a continuous distribution system.
