The Philippi High-Power Battery Chargers 24V (ACE Series) are fully automatic 24V battery chargers for medium to large on-board electrical systems on yachts, RVs, and vehicles. They charge up to 3 battery banks (e.g., starter, service, and bow battery) simultaneously with charging currents from 45 to 100 A and are suitable for battery capacities up to 1,000 Ah.
- Up to 3 independent charging outputs, each output can deliver the full charging current – ideal for simultaneous charging of multiple battery banks
- Full charging power up to 50 °C ambient temperature thanks to modern switched-mode power supply technology – reliable even in the engine room or in southern regions
- Wide AC input voltage range 90–265 V (47–65 Hz) with automatic voltage detection: can be used worldwide with shore power or generator without performance loss
- Adjustable charging curves (IU or IUoU) via internal DIP switches for wet, GEL, AGM, lead-calcium, and LiFePO4 batteries
- Robust, powder-coated aluminum housing with IP23 protection for continuous use on board
The High-Power 24V battery chargers of the ACE series are the consistent further development of Philippi charging technology for demanding 24V on-board systems. The microprocessor-controlled, regulated fan (< 50 dBA at 1 m distance) keeps the noise level low, while automatic AC input voltage detection ensures that yachts and vehicles can be charged worldwide from shore power or a generator without adjustments. All four variants (45 A, 60 A, 80 A, and 100 A) share the same robust design with VDR overvoltage protection at the input, reverse polarity protection via fuse tripping, and short-circuit and overheating protection through automatic device shutdown.
Philippi ACE series chargers are used wherever larger 24V battery banks need to be reliably and quickly charged – for example, when refitting motor yachts with multiple battery banks, converting to LiFePO4 technology, or in vehicles with high energy demand. Using the optional ACE-T-Cable HPO (order no. 5 0411 1162), ACE chargers can be connected to the Philippi P-Bus, allowing charging status and operating data to be displayed on a P-Bus system monitor.

Compatibility
Philippi ACE chargers can be connected to the Philippi P-Bus via the optional ACE-T-Cable HPO to display charging data on a P-Bus system monitor. Choose the ACE 24/45 or ACE 24/60 variant for medium-sized battery banks, ACE 24/80 or ACE 24/100 for large systems up to 1,000 Ah – the ACE 24/100 uses M8 studs for connection, all other variants use M6.
Frequently Asked Questions
What battery types can the High-Power ACE charger charge?
The ACE charger charges wet, GEL, AGM, lead-calcium, and LiFePO4 batteries; the charging curve (IU or IUoU) is set via internal DIP switches.
Can I charge multiple battery banks simultaneously?
Yes, the ACE charger has 3 independent outputs, each of which can deliver the full charging current, for example, for starter, service, and bow batteries.
Does the charger also work abroad with different mains voltages?
Yes, thanks to automatic voltage detection and an input voltage range of 90–265 VAC (47–65 Hz), the device can be operated worldwide without performance loss.
How do I display the charge status on a monitor?
Using the optional ACE-T-Cable HPO, the charger can be connected to the Philippi P-Bus and the operating status displayed on a P-Bus system monitor.
Which variant suits my battery capacity?
As a guide: ACE 24/45 for 200–450 Ah, ACE 24/60 for 250–600 Ah, ACE 24/80 for 300–800 Ah, and ACE 24/100 for 400–1,000 Ah recommended battery capacity.
