The flush-mount standard socket with hinged lid ESD 12/24 from pro-car, available from philippi, is a built-in socket for 6–24 V on-board electrical systems in cars, boats and caravans. It accepts standard and universal plugs, can be loaded with up to 16 A and is connected via 6.3 mm flat connectors. It fits a mounting hole of Ø 18 mm, and the hinged lid protects it when not in use.

For a waterproof version with screw cap, there is the flush-mount standard socket WSD 12/24. A suitable plug is, for example, the US 12/24 universal plug.
