The Automatic Changeover Switch + Inverter LAU 325 is an automatic AC changeover unit for yacht onboard electrical systems, switching between three sources – shore power, inverter, and generator – and handling up to 6 kW of generator power.

  • Shore power and inverter up to 16 A, generator input up to 25 A (6 kW) load capacity
  • Connection to the Philippi P-BUS system possible via ACE-T cable
  • Also available as RCBO version LAU 325 F if additional residual current protection is required

The LAU 325 automatically switches between three AC sources on yachts: shore power, inverter, and generator. If a source fails or the shore power is disconnected, the Philippi unit automatically switches to the next available source, ensuring continuous power supply to consumers in the onboard electrical system. The generator input can handle significantly more power, up to 25 A (6 kW), than the other two inputs, which are designed for shore power and inverter at 16 A each.

Philippi supplies the LAU 325 with an interface for the P-BUS system, which requires the ACE-T cable (item no. 5 0411 1161). If an integrated residual current protection is additionally required, the LAU 325 F is the identical version with an RCBO circuit breaker.

The LAU 325 is part of the Philippi shore power unit series (LAU 216 / LAU 325 / LAU 340) and has the same dimensions as the RCBO version LAU 325 F.
