The Philippi Universal Tank Interface (UTI) is an interface for the onboard power system of boats and vehicles. It connects TDS, TDN, or TDT tank sensors to analog round instruments by converting the tank sensor's 4–20 mA signal into a voltage signal (0.5–2.5 V) or resistance signal (10–180 Ω).
- Adapts various tank sensor systems to existing analog measuring instruments without having to replace the display
- Any combination is possible, e.g., conversion from 10–180 Ω to 240–33 Ω
- Tank height adjustable directly on the interface so that the full signal exactly matches the display
The Philippi UTI is used wherever tank sensors with a current signal (TDS, TDN, TDT tank sensors) meet existing analog round instruments with voltage or resistance input. Instead of replacing the entire display, the UTI converts the signal accordingly and can be precisely calibrated to the respective tank geometry using the adjustable tank height.

Compatibility: Input side suitable for tank sensors with resistance signal 10-180 Ω or 240-33 Ω, voltage output 0-10 V or current signal 4-20 mA (e.g., Philippi TDS, TDN, TDT tank sensors). Output side suitable for instruments with resistance input 10-180 Ω or 240-33 Ω or voltage input.
What is the UTI needed for?
For connecting TDS, TDN, or TDT tank sensors to analog round instruments with voltage or resistance input.
Can I adjust the tank height?
Yes, you can set the tank height directly on the interface so that the full signal of the tank sensor matches the display.
Order now and easily adapt your tank display to your onboard power system.
