The Philippi P-BUS slave monitor PSS is an additional display device for P-Bus onboard networks. It complements a PSM2 or PSL system monitor, displaying available battery, tank, temperature, and energy data on a 2.4" color touchscreen without requiring its own configuration. The front panel is protected to IP65.

The Philippi PSS is suitable for all yacht owners who want to read the same battery, tank, temperature, and energy data at a second location on board – for example, in the saloon or skipper's cockpit – as on the main monitor. Since the PSS operates purely as a slave display to the P-BUS system monitor PSM2 or PSL, no separate setup is required: as soon as it is connected via P-Bus, it automatically adopts all system settings from the main monitor.

According to the Philippi user manual, operating the PSS requires a main system monitor PSM with software version 19A or higher, or a PSM2 with software version 3A or higher. The front panel is designed to protection class IP65, but the device is not intended for outdoor installation.
