The waterproof connector 5-pole (4+PE) series 694 from philippi is a waterproof circular connector for yachts and vehicles that allows cables in the onboard electrical system to be safely separated and high currents of up to 20 A per contact to be transmitted. The 4+PE version is mainly used for the AC 400 V shore power connection.

For separating electrical cables on board yachts, waterproof circular connectors such as the philippi connector series 694 are preferably used. The simple and secure threaded locking ensures that the connection remains reliably closed even with movement and vibration on board.

Thanks to the glass-fibre-reinforced plastic design, the connector series 694 is particularly resistant to marine use with moisture and salt water. The circular connectors have been tested by Germanischer Lloyd and meet the requirements for use on watercraft.

The 4+PE connector belongs to the philippi series 694, which is also available in 13-pole, 24-pole and coaxial versions. Matching accessories such as angled housings and surface-mount housings for deck mounting of the flange plug or flange socket are available separately.

What is the 4+PE version used for?

The 4+PE version of the series 694 is mainly used for separating the shore power connection with AC 400 V.

Is the connector waterproof?

Yes, the housing is protected to IP65 and is therefore suitable for permanent use on deck and in outdoor areas of yachts.

Which variant do I need - coupling or flange?

Coupling plug and coupling socket connect two cables to each other, while flange plug and flange socket are intended for fixed mounting on a wall or a housing.
