The philippi P-BUS-Studer Bridge XCOM-CAN-BMS is a communication interface to the philippi P-BUS and at the same time serves as the control unit for the battery charge control of the Studer Xtender inverter/chargers. It displays the Xtender data on the P-BUS system monitor and allows configuration settings to be made directly from there. Power is supplied via the Xtender network; an M12 T-cable is included in the scope of delivery.

The philippi P-BUS-Studer Bridge XCOM-CAN-BMS is the consistent further development of the integration between the Swiss premium manufacturer Studer Innotec and the philippi P-BUS system. While the simple XCOM-CAN Bridge only displays Xtender data, the XCOM-CAN-BMS additionally acts as the control unit for the battery charge control, thus regulating the interaction between the Xtender inverter/charger and the connected battery via the P-BUS.

For onboard electrical systems in which the battery state and charging behaviour of the Studer Xtender system are to be monitored and controlled centrally via the philippi P-BUS monitor, the XCOM-CAN-BMS Bridge is therefore the right choice. As it draws its power from the Xtender network, no separate power supply is required; the supplied M12 T-cable provides the direct connection to the P-BUS.
