The PowerBar1000 1992 busbar (Blue Sea Systems BS 1992) is a high-load busbar from the PowerBar1000 series with eight 5/16"-18 threaded studs and serves as a central connection point for large and small conductors in complex onboard electrical systems.

Advantages

  • Tin-plated high-purity electrolytic copper for maximum conductivity
  • Stepped rail design with two levels doubles the possible conductor density compared to classic busbars
  • Connection heights suitable for common fuse holder blocks – multiple fuse blocks can be directly attached without additional connecting cables
  • 5/16" stud size for cable lugs with a smaller hole diameter than the 3/8" versions 1990/1991
  • Additional #8-32 stainless steel screws with captive lock washers for smaller conductor cross-sections
  • Bidirectional end caps allow multiple PowerBar1000 busbars to be interconnected
  • Pluggable insulating cover meets ABYC/USCG requirements, with recess for labeling

What is the PowerBar1000 1992 suitable for?

The PowerBar1000 1992 is suitable for onboard electrical systems where cable lugs with a 5/16" hole diameter are used, for example, with certain battery or inverter connections. It offers the same 1000 A continuous current rating and connection density as the 3/8" version 1990, but with suitable studs for smaller ring terminals.

Those who use cable lugs with a 5/16" bore will find the right 1000 A busbar in the PowerBar1000 1992.
