The battery main switch BHD 600 from the Blue Sea Systems HD series is designed for large diesel and petrol engines with high current demand. It switches a battery circuit completely ON or OFF and delivers a continuous current of up to 600 A – the highest power class in the Blue Sea battery main switch range.

Which engines is the BHD 600 suitable for?

The BHD 600 was developed for large inboard diesel engines and powerful onboard electrical systems that require a significantly higher continuous current than the m or e series can deliver. With 600 A continuous current and 1,750 A peak current over 30 seconds, it reliably withstands even demanding starting processes of large engines.

This makes it suitable for larger yachts as well as for off-road and expedition vehicles with powerful engines and correspondingly dimensioned onboard electrical systems.

Yes. We repair philippi-brand devices in our factory in Remseck for as long as spare parts are available – well beyond the statutory warranty. For partner products, the respective manufacturer's warranty applies; just contact us if you have a warranty claim.
