The AMS 12 is a protective cover made of robust, insulating plastic for the compact SMS 12 busbar in the electrical system of a boat or vehicle. It is fitted onto the busbar's terminal studs and prevents accidental contact with live terminals.

  • Suitable for the SMS 12 busbar with 10 consumer connections (8-32 screws) and 2 supply connections (1/4" studs)
  • Acts as touch protection and reduces the risk of short circuits caused by falling tools or cables
  • Material: durable, electrically insulating plastic

The AMS 12 cover belongs on every openly installed SMS 12 busbar and should always be ordered with the electrical system installation to protect people and equipment from unwanted contact with the busbar terminals.

Yes. philippi products are manufactured and tested in our own factory in Remseck. In the event of a defect, we repair devices as long as spare parts are available – even far beyond the statutory warranty.
