The Panda 5000i PVK-UK from Fischer Panda is the compact version for underfloor installation: Same concept as the Panda 5000i PVK-U, but with a factory-integrated cooler instead of a separately mounted external cooler. This makes the Panda 5000i PVK-UK the right choice if no additional installation location for a heat sink is available in the vehicle or motorhome – the complete cooling is already part of the capsule.
At its heart, like the PVK-U, is a water-cooled Kubota EA300 diesel engine with one cylinder and 309 cc displacement, which is precisely adapted to the respective power requirement thanks to variable speed technology (2,200–2,800 RPM). A downstream inverter ensures a constant output voltage of 230 V at 50 Hz, regardless of the current engine speed. Due to the integration of the cooler, the capsule of the Panda 5000i PVK-UK is longer, measuring approximately 1,204 x 445 x 460 mm, and heavier, at about 176 kg, than the PVK-U – but this eliminates the need for a separate cooler installation location entirely.
