The battery main switch BHS 330 (2-pole) from the Blue Sea Systems e-Series switches two isolated battery circuits simultaneously and can additionally connect them in parallel in the Combine position. With 330 A continuous current, it is designed for boats and off-road vehicles with two battery banks and higher current demand.
Advantages
- Dual Circuit Plus™: switches two isolated battery banks simultaneously or combines them via the Combine position
- Enables emergency starting or joint charging of both battery banks
- Tin-plated copper studs for maximum conductivity and corrosion protection
- One-piece stud design that does not loosen even under vibration
- Tactile indicators show the switch position even without visual contact
Technical data & compatibility
- Switching function: Dual Circuit Plus™ – switches two isolated battery banks simultaneously or combines them to all loads (Combine)
- Continuous current: 330 A per circuit
- Peak current: 700 A / 30 sec. per circuit (intermittent 5 min.: 525 A per circuit)
- Voltage: max. 32 V DC
- Mounting: universal flush, surface or panel mounting
- Connections: studs for 3/8" (M10) ring cable lugs, cables up to 4/0 AWG (120 mm²)
Which onboard electrical system is the BHS 330 suitable for?
The BHS 330 is ideal for boats and off-road vehicles with two separate battery banks that are charged and used independently of each other in normal operation but can be connected in parallel when required – for example for starting with the combined capacity of both banks.
With 330 A continuous current per circuit, it is particularly suitable for applications with somewhat higher current demand than the standard m-Series models.
