The AMS 7 is a protective cover for the compact SMS 7 busbar in the vehicle electrical system. It is plugged onto the connection bolts and prevents direct access to the live consumer and supply line connections.

  • Suitable for the SMS 7 busbar with 5 consumer connections (screws 8-32) and 2 supply line connections (studs #10-32)
  • Serves as contact protection and prevents short circuits caused by falling metal parts
  • Material: resistant, electrically insulating plastic

The AMS 7 is recommended for any freely accessible SMS 7 busbar, for example behind switch panels or in battery compartments, to securely cover the connections.

Available items are usually shipped within 2–3 business days. You can see the current stock status directly on the product page. Shipping is free for purchases over €250.

You can return your order within the statutory right of withdrawal. Please use our return form or contact our support team – we can also help you find a suitable replacement product.

Yes. philippi products are manufactured and tested in our own factory in Remseck. In the event of a defect, we repair devices as long as spare parts are available – even far beyond the statutory warranty.
