The remote-controlled battery main switch 500A series XD (XD1PC) from philippi is a bistable main switch relay with manual emergency operation, used for remote control and isolation of the onboard electrical system in yachts, motorhomes and vehicles with 12 V or 24 V systems.

  • Bistable relay technology holds the switching state without continuous current – current consumption in the off state is only 1.3 mA
  • Manual emergency operation directly on the unit reliably isolates the onboard electrical system even without remote control
  • Compact design with M10 terminal studs for installation in existing main circuits

The philippi XD1PC is conveniently operated from the switch panel via the matching illuminated control switch WS22RG “Battery” (order no. 5 2022 2215), making it suitable for central remote disconnection of the main battery on board.

Which onboard system voltage is the XD1PC battery main switch suitable for?

The XD1PC works with an operating voltage of DC 8–36 V and therefore covers both 12 V and 24 V onboard electrical systems.

Is an additional control switch required?

Yes, the matching illuminated control switch WS22RG “Battery” (order no. 5 2022 2215) is required for remote control.

Can the main switch also be operated manually?

Yes, the bistable main switch relay has a manual emergency operation for isolating the onboard electrical system.

What is the current rating of the XD1PC?
