The 1170-01 circuit breaker from E-T-A, available from philippi, is a single-pole thermal circuit breaker in miniature design with manual release that plugs into automotive blade fuse holders. It is suitable for protecting small consumers such as bilge pumps, alarm systems and measuring leads, is rated for DC 28 V and is available with 8, 15 or 25 A.

  • Snap-action mechanism and trip-free release for reliable switching behaviour

The 12-P10 plug-in base is available as a special socket; it can be lined up on a 35 mm DIN rail or used for floor mounting.

Where is the 1170-01 installed?

The circuit breaker plugs into an automotive blade fuse holder or into the 12-P10 plug-in base. Supply leads of bilge pumps and alarm systems as well as measuring leads should be protected as close to the batteries as possible.
