The Mastervolt MLI Ultra Lithium-Ion battery is a lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) on-board battery for yachts, motorhomes and off-road vehicles with 6,000 Wh of energy content per battery (12 V/460 Ah or 24 V/230 Ah), MasterBus/CZone communication and up to 3,500 charge cycles at 80% depth of discharge. The MLI Ultra can be integrated into a Philippi P-Bus system with PSL and PSM 3 system monitors via the CMB interface. Philippi supplies and services the Mastervolt MLI Ultra as a Mastervolt system partner.

The MLI Ultra is designed for tough everyday use on board: high charging and discharging currents, moisture and mechanical vibrations on board or on the road have little effect on it, and the electronics housing is waterproof. For refit projects on yachts, the conversion of motorhomes or off-road vehicles with high energy requirements – for example, for refrigerators, inverters or electric drives – the MLI Ultra lithium-ion battery delivers the necessary energy density with significantly reduced weight compared to lead technology.
As a Mastervolt system partner, Philippi integrates the MLI Ultra into existing Philippi on-board network systems via the CMB interface (order no. 0 7100 0030). This means that the battery status and charge status of the MLI Ultra appear directly on the Philippi system monitors PSL and PSM 3, without the need for a separate Mastervolt display. Philippi advises on the selection of the appropriate MLI Ultra variant and on the commissioning of the entire system.
