The Philippi screw-in tank sensor TDT-10-250 is a pressure sensor that is screwed in near the bottom into a G1/2″ threaded port and precisely measures the fill level of diesel, fresh water, grey water, and black water tanks via the hydrostatic pressure of the liquid.

The Philippi TDT tank sensor is screwed in as a screw-in sensor near the bottom into a G1/2″ threaded port of the tank. The sensor measures the current level via the hydrostatic pressure of the liquid – independently of the tank shape and without mechanically moving parts that could wear out or become contaminated. The TDT-10-250 is therefore suitable for diesel, fresh water, grey water, and black water tanks in yachts, motorhomes, and vehicles.

The DC 4–20 mA output signal using the 2-wire principle makes the sensor robust against cable lengths and interference in the onboard electrical system. Via the universal tank interface UTI, the signal can also be used for analog round instruments with resistance or voltage input if required.
