The Philippi switch panel STV 235 is a power distribution unit with an integrated battery/tank monitor BTM2, which secures 15 circuits in the 12/24V electrical system of motor and sailing yachts and simultaneously displays battery and tank data.

The Philippi switch panel STV 235 combines the protection of 15 circuits with thermal rocker circuit breakers with the digital battery/tank monitor BTM2. Battery voltage, state of charge, charge/discharge current, and fill levels of up to 4 tanks are displayed in real-time on the intuitive 3.5" color TFT touchscreen with automatic brightness adjustment. Via the integrated NMEA 2000 interface, this data can also be shown on compatible plotters or in a Raymarine network.

For connecting the BTM2, the shunt SHE 348 is required for monitoring consumers and the service battery; this, as well as tank sensors, the N2K connection cable, and possibly the charger interface ACE-LIN, are not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately. The monitor supports both Philippi's own tank sensors (e.g., TGT/TGW, UTV, TDS/TDN, DFS) and common third-party sensors with signals of 10–180 Ω, 240–33 Ω, 0–5 V, 0–10 V, or 4–20 mA. If you prefer full P-Bus monitoring with the system monitor PSM3 instead of the BTM2, the STV 255 offers the suitable alternative with the same number of circuits.

For wiring, Philippi recommends the terminal block RKL 16/4. The STV 235 is developed and manufactured in Germany.

What differentiates the STV 235 from the STV 255?

The STV 255 is equipped with the system monitor PSM3 for full P-Bus monitoring, with the same number of circuits, while the STV 235 features the simpler BTM2.

Is the shunt included in the scope of delivery?

No, the shunt SHE 348 as well as tank sensors and the N2K cable must be ordered separately.

Thanks to the integrated NMEA 2000 interface, all battery and tank data can be seamlessly integrated into the onboard network and conveniently displayed on compatible plotters. At the same time, the BTM 2 impresses with its particularly low standby consumption, allowing it to remain reliably connected to the battery permanently.

Always stay on top of things: precise real-time data on voltage, current, charge status, remaining runtime, and temperature give you full control over your power supply. Solar systems and a wide variety of tank sensors can also be flexibly integrated.

Intelligent alarm and energy management actively protects your battery from deep discharge – ideal, especially for modern lithium systems.

Technology that endures

For our panels, we deliberately use replaceable, mechanical circuit breakers – for maximum reliability and easy maintenance. Thanks to their sophisticated design, the components can be replaced quickly and easily, minimizing downtime.

By default, circuit breakers with a current of 10 A are installed. Alternatively, circuit breakers with currents of 6 A, 10 A, 16 A, and 20 A can be used.

The integrated protection function makes additional fuses superfluous while ensuring a high degree of operational safety. Since these are purely mechanical solutions, no additional energy is required for electronics or relays – a clear advantage in terms of efficiency and sustainability.

Depending on the model, the Series 200 control panel protects between 3 and 24 circuits. Two-pole versions are indicated by the suffix "-2p" in the model name. The exact number of circuits can be found in the product description at the top of this page.

Series 200 switch panels are available for 12V and 24V on-board power systems. When purchasing, ensure you select the correct voltage variant – this is specified in the technical data for each model.

Some models of the 200 series already have an integrated monitor (e.g. BTM2 or PSM3), others are pure circuit distributors without a monitor. Please refer to the product description on this page to see whether your model includes a monitor.

Yes. Philippi products are manufactured and tested in our own factory in Remseck. In the event of a defect, we repair devices as long as spare parts are available – even far beyond the statutory warranty period.
