The DCB/DCE 24/xx charge booster is a battery-to-battery charger with a 24 V DC input. For example, it ensures optimal and fast charging of the auxiliary battery from the alternator while driving. Long charging lines and losses, as well as voltage fluctuations at the alternator, are cleanly regulated. The DCB/DCE charge boosters are available with different output voltages between 12-48V. They enable, for example, the charging of a 12V battery in a 24V on-board power system without installing an additional alternator.
