The shore power circuit breaker LAE 205 from Philippi is a 2-pole MCB circuit breaker for 230V on-board installations, which protects the supply line from the shore power connection to the shore power unit as soon as its distance exceeds 3 m. It supplements shore power units such as the Philippi LAE 232 or LAE 233 where this distance is exceeded.

Whenever the supply line from the shore power connection to the shore power unit is longer than 3 m – then it must also be protected with the 2-pole MCB circuit breaker LAE 205.

With which shore power units is the LAE 205 combined?

For example, with the Philippi LAE 232 or LAE 233, if the distance to the power inlet for these is more than 3 m – in principle, the LAE 205 is intended as a supplement to all RCBO-based shore power units of the LAE 100/200 series as soon as the 3 m limit is exceeded.
