The UTI interface is required to connect TDS, TDN, TDT tank probes to analog round instruments with voltage or resistance input. It converts the 4 – 20 mA signal from the tank probe into a voltage (0.5 – 2.5 V) or resistance signal (10 – 180 ?). Additionally, the tank level can be adjusted on the interface so that the full signal from the TDS, TDN, TDT tank probe matches the display.
The universal tank interface can be used to adapt analog measuring instruments to various tank sensor systems. Any combination is possible, e.g., a conversion from 10 – 180 ? to 240 – 33 ?.
The following tank sensor systems can be connected:
. Tank sensors with resistance signal 10 – 180 ? or 240 – 33 ?
. Tank sensors with voltage output 0 – 10 V
. Tank sensors with current signal 4 – 20 mA
The following measuring instruments can be connected:
. Instruments with resistance input 10 – 180 ? or 240 – 33 ?
. Instruments with voltage input
