Functioning navigation lights at night are a fundamental safety requirement for every watercraft. The POS 6 electronic navigation light monitoring system simultaneously monitors up to six lights (port, starboard, stern, masthead, anchor, and tricolor lights) and detects the failure of incandescent bulbs or LEDs, or a cable interruption. When the navigation lights are working, the associated LEDs on the display indicate their function. As soon as a light failure is reported by the electronics, the corresponding indicator light on the navigation light display flashes, and an audible signal sounds, which can be acknowledged with a button. The monitoring system is suitable for incandescent and LED navigation lights, also in mixed operation. Existing systems can easily be retrofitted with a POS 6 navigation light monitoring system at any time. If more than six lights need to be monitored, multiple POS 6 modules can be used in parallel. Custom navigation light displays can be used with the POS 6 navigation light monitoring module.
