Battery and Tank Monitoring on One Display – for Boats, Yachts, RVs, and Vehicles
The BTM 2 is the central display for battery and tank monitoring on board. On an intuitive 3.5″ color touchscreen, you can keep track of battery voltage, state of charge, current, and tank levels in real-time – ideal for boats, yachts, RVs, campers, and vehicles. As a battery monitor and tank monitor in one device, the BTM 2 replaces multiple individual displays and can be directly integrated into your onboard network thanks to NMEA 2000.
NMEA 2000
For connection to the NMEA2000 network, the N2K cable is additionally required. The pluggable cable establishes the connection via a T-piece (5 0411 1149) to an NMEA 2000 onboard network. If the connection to a Raymarine network is to be made via Seatalk, a Raymarine adapter cable Seatalk/NMEA 2000 must also be installed (please order from Raymarine – A06045).
Battery Monitoring
Precise battery information on current voltage, charge/discharge current, remaining time, temperature, and state of charge of the consumer battery. Historical values for the number of charge cycles, deep discharges, and average depth of discharge give you an overview of battery usage. Monitoring the voltages of up to 2 starter or bow batteries is possible.
The SHE 348 shunt is not included with the BTM2 – please order separately!
Solar Yield Measurement
If one or more solar panels are to be monitored in addition, you can display the current yield of your solar panels with the help of a SHP348 power measurement shunt.
Tank Measurement
All known Philippi tank sensors such as TGT/TGW, UTV, TDS/TDN, and DFS can be connected; existing tank sensors from other manufacturers with signals 10-180Ω / 240-33Ω / 0-5 V / 0-10 V / 4-20 mA are also possible. Each tank can be individually configured for clear assignment, and adaptation to non-linear tank geometries is also possible. Individual tank alarms can be defined for monitoring.
Alarm/Relay Contact
Also new is the potential-free changeover contact, which, in conjunction with a remote-controlled battery main switch FHR 265, allows for voltage- and capacity-dependent energy management and deep discharge protection. This allows consumers to be switched off early before impending deep discharge, and not only when the battery is deeply discharged. This is particularly important for lithium battery systems, whose flat discharge curve makes timely voltage cutoff impossible.
Tank sensors, the "SHE x48" shunt, and the NMEA-2000 connection cable N2K-Kabel or the FHR265 relay must be ordered separately.
Easy Connection
With the Connect HUB, you can easily and conveniently connect sensors and devices at a central point. The Connect HUB then only runs a single cable to the display, so you don't have to lay each cable individually but have a central point of contact.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the shunt included?
No, the SHE 348 shunt is not included and must be ordered separately.
Can I also monitor my solar system?
Yes, with an additional SHP348 power measurement shunt, the BTM2 also displays solar yield.
What's the easiest way to connect sensors and devices?
Via the Connect HUB – it bundles all connections and runs only a single cable to the display.

FAQ
Yes, this is possible. For this, the required fuse size per circuit must be specified when ordering the switch panel.
Yes, before each switchboard, a main fuse must be integrated into the supply line to the switchboard near the battery.
Yes, all common sensors used in the marine and automotive sectors can be connected.
