The Philippi LAU 340 F changeover unit is an automatic changeover device for 3 AC inputs with an integrated RCBO circuit breaker, which safely switches between shore power, inverter and generator in the onboard electrical system of yachts and is designed for higher generator outputs up to 9 kW. The integrated RCBO circuit breaker (40 A / 30 mA) makes separate protection of the outputs unnecessary.

The Philippi LAU 340 F changeover unit is the version of the LAU series with a factory-integrated RCBO circuit breaker and is particularly suitable for new installations where the changeover unit is also intended to provide the required residual current and line protection functions. Like the LAU 340, it measures the mains input voltage of each connected source and only switches on generators once they have started up correctly and reached their nominal voltage. An additional output circuit protects the batteries from unwanted discharge by the charger or boiler when operating via the inverter.
Via the Philippi P-BUS and the PSM2 or PSL system monitors, the changeover delay time and voltage thresholds can be individually set, and the active source and AC voltage are displayed on the screen. Since the housing of the LAU 340 F already provides space for an ACW current transformer, the system can be expanded with detailed power consumption logging if required.
