The TEMP-BT temperature sensor is an NTC thermistor from Philippi for measuring water and air temperatures in the on-board network of yachts, motorhomes, and vehicles. It connects to the SHX battery management shunt, the EM-Box and SHC interfaces, or the TPC 4 temperature interface in the P-BUS system and provides measurements in the range of -30 °C to +70 °C.

  • An interface (e.g., TPC 4) allows the simultaneous connection of several TEMP-BTs for battery, water, and air measurements
  • Robust measuring element cast in plastic for permanent use on board

Via the SHX shunt, the battery temperature is recorded with the TEMP-BT temperature sensor in addition to current, voltage, and capacity and displayed directly on the system monitor. Up to four temperature sensors like the TEMP-BT can be connected simultaneously to the TPC 4 temperature interface, allowing for parallel monitoring of battery, coolant, and interior temperatures, for example.
