The Philippi STV 207 switch panel is a Series 200 circuit distributor that protects 7 circuits on boats via thermal rocker circuit breakers, and also powers on-board devices via an integrated USB-C/A dual charging socket and a DC power socket. It is designed for 12V and 24V on-board electrical systems.

The Philippi STV 207 is the right choice if chargers or 12V consumers are to be connected directly to the switch panel without installing additional sockets in the on-board electrical system. The integrated USB-C/A dual charging socket charges mobile devices, while the DC power socket supplies classic 12V consumers. Each of the 7 circuits is protected by a thermal rocker circuit breaker with a nominal current of 10 A, optionally also available with 2, 6, 16, or 20 A.

Compared to its sister model, the STV 208, the STV 207 foregoes one circuit in favor of the integrated charging option. If you don't need a charging option on the panel but need one more circuit, the more affordable STV 208 is a better choice.

Is sacrificing a circuit for the charging option worthwhile?

If a charging option is needed on the panel anyway, yes – then a separate socket in the on-board electrical system is not required. If no charging function is needed, the STV 208 with 8 circuits is the more efficient choice.

What is the DC power socket suitable for in addition to the USB port?

For classic 12V devices like cool boxes or stand fans that do not have a USB connection.

For our panels, we deliberately use replaceable, mechanical circuit breakers – for maximum reliability and easy maintenance. Thanks to their sophisticated design, the components can be replaced quickly and easily, minimizing downtime.

By default, circuit breakers with a current of 10 A are installed. Alternatively, circuit breakers with currents of 6 A, 10 A, 16 A, and 20 A can be used.

The integrated protection function makes additional fuses superfluous while ensuring a high degree of operational safety. Since these are purely mechanical solutions, no additional energy is required for electronics or relays – a clear advantage in terms of efficiency and sustainability.

Depending on the model, the Series 200 control panel protects between 3 and 24 circuits. Two-pole versions are indicated by the suffix "-2p" in the model name. The exact number of circuits can be found in the product description at the top of this page.

Series 200 switch panels are available for 12V and 24V on-board power systems. When purchasing, ensure you select the correct voltage variant – this is specified in the technical data for each model.

Some models of the 200 series already have an integrated monitor (e.g. BTM2 or PSM3), others are pure circuit distributors without a monitor. Please refer to the product description on this page to see whether your model includes a monitor.

Yes. Philippi products are manufactured and tested in our own factory in Remseck. In the event of a defect, we repair devices as long as spare parts are available – even far beyond the statutory warranty period.
