What is the 40 A automotive relay used for?

It is suitable as a simple switching relay for consumers in 12 V on-board electrical systems or as a battery isolation relay in small battery systems.

Is the relay also available for 24 V or with a higher switching current?

For higher switching currents (50/70 A) and 24 V on-board electrical systems, Philippi offers the identically constructed automotive relay from the TR 70 series.
