The Mastervolt Mass Sine is designed for continuous operation with a mean time between failures (MTBF) of 180,000 hours, making it suitable for demanding applications on yachts and in vehicles where an uninterrupted 230 V supply is essential. Philippi uses the Mass Sine where a pure inverter function without an integrated charger is sufficient – for example, to power individual consumer circuits or as a compact addition to an existing charging system.
All Mass Sine models deliver a true sine wave output at 230 V/50 Hz and can briefly handle multiples of their nominal power to safely start even complex and heavy loads. For displaying the operating status via the Mastervolt MasterBus, an additional MasterBus Inverter Interface or AC Power Analyzer component is required; Philippi will individually plan the integration into a Philippi on-board electrical system with you.
