The XTM Combi Inverter from Studer Innotec is a sine-wave combi-inverter for mobile 230 V power supply on yachts, in motorhomes, and in vehicles. It combines an inverter and battery charger in one housing, is available in power levels from 1500–3500 VA for 12 V and 24 V on-board electrical systems, and can be integrated into an existing Philippi on-board electrical system via the P-Bus.
- Automatic mains transfer switch with shore power connection and PFC-regulated battery charging
- Smart-Boost function: combines inverter power with shore power or generator to reliably start even consumers with high inrush current (e.g., air conditioners)
- Expandable: up to 9 devices can be combined in parallel and three-phase for system outputs of up to 63 kW
- Adjustable shore power capacity with automatic load detection in standby mode
- Connectable directly to Philippi system monitors such as PSL or PSM3 via the XCOM CAN interface and the P-Bus
The XTM Combi Inverter from the Xtender series is the result of many years of development work by Studer Innotec in Switzerland and is one of the most reliable devices in its class. When connected to shore power, the device automatically charges the on-board batteries via a PFC-regulated charging stage and simultaneously supplies 230 V consumers with shore power. The Power-Sharing function automatically reduces the charging current as soon as the load limit of the AC source is reached.
Two potential-free multifunction contacts can be freely programmed, for example, for generator start-up, fault indication, or situation-dependent battery charging. The XTM can be conveniently configured via the RCC-02 or RCC-03 remote control, all system information can be graphically retrieved, and it can be pre-configured externally via an SD card or updated via software update. For use in the Philippi on-board electrical system, the XTM is suitable both as a stand-alone device and as part of larger multi-device systems.
