Suitable Solar Charge Controller for Every System Size
The Mastervolt Solar ChargeMaster series covers three different technology levels: The SCM25 is a compact MPPT controller for smaller solar systems, the SCM40 is a PWM controller for simpler 12/24V systems with lead-acid batteries, and the SCM60 is a MasterBus-compatible MPPT controller for larger systems up to 48V and up to 3600 Wp module power. Compatibility with the Philippi P-Bus System
According to the Philippi catalog ("Mastervolt System Solutions"), the Solar ChargeMaster series belongs to the devices that can be connected to the Philippi P-Bus via the CMB interface (order no. 0 7100 0030). The MasterBus capability of the respective model is technically relevant here: The SCM60 MPPT-MB has MasterBus connectivity and can therefore be directly integrated; SCM25 and SCM40 do not have their own MasterBus interface according to the manufacturer's datasheet.
