The BatteryLink Charger BS 7607 combines a 3-stage charger with an integrated automatic charging relay (ACR), thereby charging two battery banks simultaneously – at the dock via the shore power cable (European CEE 7/7 plug) and underway via the engine's alternator. If the device is not connected to the power grid, the integrated isolation relay still bridges both battery banks as soon as the engine provides a charging voltage above 13.0 V.

When is a BatteryLink charger like the BS 7607 useful?

When two battery banks need to be charged reliably and simultaneously, both in port via shore power and underway via the alternator, without having to install a separate isolation relay for DC charging. The BatteryLink charger combines both functions in one housing, reducing wiring effort and installation time.
