The Philippi STV 203-2p switch panel is a circuit distributor for boats with 3 fused circuits in a two-pole design, ensuring galvanic isolation on aluminum and steel ships and thus preventing stray current corrosion on the hull.

For GRP boats without a metal hull, the simpler, single-pole switch panel STV 203 from the same series is sufficient. As soon as the hull is made of aluminum or steel, the two-pole version STV 203-2p from Philippi is the safer choice because it prevents stray currents from flowing off via the hull and causing corrosion.

Developed and manufactured in Germany, the STV 203-2p can be supplemented in the switch cabinet with the matching terminal blocks RKL 14 (two-pole).

Why is the two-pole version important for metal ships? It prevents galvanic corrosion caused by stray currents that can flow off via the hull in single-pole systems.

Our panels allow existing switch and control panels to be extended simply and with a uniform appearance. The design is perfectly matched to existing systems and ensures a consistent, professional look.

For clear and durable labeling, we offer an extensive sticker set with over 200 terms in 10 languages. This allows switches, buttons, and functions to be labeled quickly, cleanly, and in an internationally understandable way.

Technology that endures

For our panels, we deliberately use replaceable, mechanical circuit breakers – for maximum reliability and easy maintenance. Thanks to their sophisticated design, the components can be replaced quickly and easily, minimizing downtime.

By default, circuit breakers with a current of 10 A are installed. Alternatively, circuit breakers with currents of 6 A, 10 A, 16 A, and 20 A can be used.

The integrated protection function makes additional fuses superfluous while ensuring a high degree of operational safety. Since these are purely mechanical solutions, no additional energy is required for electronics or relays – a clear advantage in terms of efficiency and sustainability.

Depending on the model, the Series 200 control panel protects between 3 and 24 circuits. Two-pole versions are indicated by the suffix "-2p" in the model name. The exact number of circuits can be found in the product description at the top of this page.

Series 200 switch panels are available for 12V and 24V on-board power systems. When purchasing, ensure you select the correct voltage variant – this is specified in the technical data for each model.

Some models of the 200 series already have an integrated monitor (e.g. BTM2 or PSM3), others are pure circuit distributors without a monitor. Please refer to the product description on this page to see whether your model includes a monitor.

Yes. Philippi products are manufactured and tested in our own factory in Remseck. In the event of a defect, we repair devices as long as spare parts are available – even far beyond the statutory warranty period.
