The Philippi switch panel STV 202 MS is a circuit distributor for motor ships, which secures 2 circuits in the 12-/24-volt on-board power supply with thermal circuit breakers and also monitors the navigation lights for failure.

On motor ships, navigation light monitoring is an important safety detail: a failure of the navigation lights is hardly noticeable from the bridge in the dark. The STV 202 MS switch panel automatically detects the defect and reports it directly on the display, so that the crew can react before a dangerous situation arises.

The Philippi switch panel STV 202 MS is connected via 6.3 mm flat plug sleeves, the busbars are made of nickel-plated copper for a secure current transfer in the maritime environment. A sheet of labeling tags (SKZ) and mounting screws are included.

Recommended accessories for wiring include the terminal block type RKL 10. If you need more than 2 circuits with the same navigation light monitoring, the switch panel STV 204 SY (4 circuits) is the suitable alternative from the 200 series.

Why is navigation light monitoring important?

A failure of the navigation lights at sea in the dark is difficult to notice yourself. The STV 202 MS switch panel actively alerts the crew via the display, instead of the defect only being noticed during a visual inspection.

Are 2 circuits enough for me?

If you only want to protect the navigation lights and one other consumer, the STV 202 MS is sufficient. For more circuits with the same monitoring, the STV 204 SY is the right choice.
