The P-Bus Battery Management Shunt SHX 648 is a digital shunt for the P-BUS on-board network, designed for larger currents and powerful consumers – for reliable battery monitoring even with high load peaks on yachts and in off-road vehicles.
- Detects even the finest currents from 10 mA, with an accuracy of ±0.5% up to a continuous current of 600 A
- Calculates the current battery capacity in real-time from current and voltage values, displayed in color in the battery symbol of the system monitor
- With a second SHX 648, the starter battery can also be monitored
- Galvanically isolated P-BUS connection – even battery groups separated from the on-board network can be monitored
The Philippi SHX 648 is installed in the negative line of the battery and is designed for systems with high energy demands, such as bow thrusters, winches, or powerful inverters. The connection is made via an M16 connection bolt; the SAS4 distribution rail is available for this purpose, allowing multiple cable connections (M12, 3x M10). For smaller consumer batteries with lower current requirements, the identically constructed SHX 348 is the suitable alternative.
